Literally Kanchenjunga means “Five Great Treasuries of the Snow”, but in fact Kanchenjunga (8,585m) has seven major peaks. It is the third highest peak mountain in the world which lies on the eastern border of Nepal Kanchenjunga presents an experience to go around and witness solitude, incredible mountain panorama, different species of birds and animals, unique culture and more.

Taking a flight from Kathmandu to Taplejung (Suketar), we begin our trek to Kanchenjunga. We will be passing through mesmerizing Limbu and Rai villages and serene forests to the wonderful South Face Base Camp at Ramche, ahead of crossing the Mirgin La (pass) which lies to the north side of Kanchenjunga and the Pang Pama Base Camp. Here, you will see an arresting towering peak ridge which displays the track to Pyranid Peak, Jongsang Peak, Tent peak and above all the Kanchenjunga. Moreover, after passing from here we gain astonishing views of Jannu before coming back through the Rai and Limbu villages forested way to Taplejung. Arresting aspects of Kanchenjunga trek are terraced fields, amazing jungles of bamboo, birch and rhododendron. Barking deer, rare panda, Himalayan bear and more can be spotted along with different species of birds. The awesome views of Makalu, Mt. Arrival to Kathmandu

After getting at the flight from your local airport, you will enter into the beautiful and of Nepal viewing the best scene of mountains from the flight. The beautiful scenario will always be there to welcomes you along with the helpful members of the Destination Unlimited Treks and Expeditions. The representative will guides you towards the hotel room of the Kathmandu to spend the mean time in Kathmandu.

Kathmandu to Biratnagar to Phurumba

From Kathmandu, we can catch the flight over to Biratnagar which will offer us beautiful view from the bird eye prospects. After flying for several minutes, we will reach at Biratnagar and then we will continue further towards the Phurumba. The trekking goes for about 2 hours through the main trail to reach at Phurumba. The night will be at Phurumba.

Phurumba to Chirwa

From Phurumba, we will follow the beautiful way through the forest of the region along with some villages. The continue trail will ultimately leads us to the Chirwa. The trail goes for about 6 to 7 hours which will be all entertaining. The night will be at Chirwa.

trek to Sekathum

From Chirwa, we will move further towards the beautiful region of Sekathum which will entertain us in many prospects. The trail will continue to follow the Tamor River. We will enter in the Annapurna conservation area. The beauty of this place is incomparable. The night will be fantastically beautiful at Sekathum enjoying with friends.

Sekathum to Amjilosa

From Sekathum, we will move towards the Amjilosa viewing the best scene of the surrounding. The trail will continue for about 5 to 6 hours. The trail will offers us good view of the valleys and mountains. The trail will further passes through the yak grazing lands along with some beautiful streams of this region.

Amjilosa to Kyapra

From Amjilosa, we will hike towards the Kyapra following the trail next to the river bank. The trail will pass through the dense forested area of the region. The waterfalls of the way are something to watch at this region. Continuing our journey for several hours will takes us to the beautiful region of Kyapra at the altitude of 2820m.

Kyapra to Ghunsa

From Kyapra, we will follow the gently sloping way to the beautiful village of Phale. We can visit around the beautiful monasteries of this place. Later we will continue our trail towards the Ghunsa. It is a large village of Bhotia people along with some tidy farm. The night will be at Ghunsa at the altitude of 3480m.

Ghunsa to Kambachen

From Ghunsa, we will walk towards the main trail to Kambachen. We will walk towards the height of 4000m viewing the best scene of the surrounding including the best view of the waterfalls. Similarly the marvelous view of the mountain of Khumbakarna ranges will be exhilarating. The trail will continue until we will reach at Kambachen at the altitude of 4000m to spend the night over there.

Kambachen to Lhonak

We will wake up early in the morning to view the magnificent view of the surrounding of the Kambachen region. Then after having the breakfast, we will move towards the beautiful region of Lhonak following the main trail. The trail will provide us the great opportunity to view the beautiful view of the Kanchenjunga glaciers along with the terrific view of other mountains of the region. We will rest the night at Lhonak at 4700m.

Lhonak to Pangpema

From Lhonak, we will move towards the Pangpema continuing the trail through the Kanchenjunga glaciers. The trail will be offering the best scene of the surrounding to us at every view points. The trail will leads us to the height of 5065m above sea level. The night will be at Pangpema.

Pangpema exploration and trek to Kambachen

We will wake up early in the morning to explore around the Pangpema. The excellent view of the Kanchenjunga Mountain will be something to watch at this region. After exploring around the Pangpema, we will move towards the Kambachen viewing the best sceneries around. The trail from Pangpema to Kambachen is a descending trail which goes for about 6 to 7 hours. The night will be at Kambachen.

Kambachen to Ghunsa

From Kambachen, we will retrieve back to Ghunsa. The returning way will go for about 5 hours through the main trail. The scenic beauty will not be changed as it will only lead us to come closer to Ghunsa to spend the night at there.

Ghunsa to Mirgin la

From Ghunsa, we will walk towards the Mirgin la pass. The trail will continue to climb through the beautiful forest of rhododendron, birch, pine viewing the best scene of the surrounding. We will get the nice scene of Ghunsa River during our trek. We will continue to walk viewing the best scene of the Kanchenjunga west.

Mirgin la to Tseram

After crossing the Mirgin la pass we will make a ascent to Sinon la to the elevation of 4660m above sea level. Then the trail will begin to descend towards the Simbhu khola valley. We will spend the leisure time exploring around the Tseram at the altitude of 3870m.

Tseram to Omje Khola

From Tseram, we will walk through the beautiful pass of the region to walk towards the rhododendron and pine forests. We will continue our trekking through the main trail crossing the rivers, forest and several pasture lands. The night will be spectacular at Omje khola.

Trek to Mamankhe

From Omje khola, we will walk towards the Mamankhe. The trail goes through the beautiful forest of the region. Crossing the forest of pine and bamboo, we will reach at Mamankhe where the night will be spending enjoying with friends.

Mamankhe to Phonpe

We will walk through the main trail to reach at the Phonpe. The trail will goes descending through the forest and some villages of that region. The night will be spectacular at Phonpe viewing the beautiful sceneries of the surrounding.

Phonpe to Kunjari

From Phonpe, we will walk towards the Kunjari. The descending way will offers us the best view of the places along with some forest of the region. The trail will continue to fall until we will reach at the Kunjari to spend the night at this place.

Kunjari to Suketar

From Kunjari, we will walk towards the beautiful region of Suketar. From Suketar we can catch the flight back to Biratnagar to Kathmandu. The trail will be our last trekking route of this region. The walking for 7 to 8 hours is needed to reach at Suketar from Kunjari. The night will be at Suketar.

Suketar to Biratnagar to Kathmandu

From Suketar, we will catch the flight to Biratnagar and then to Kathmandu. The flight will be interesting as we can get the view from the height. The night will be at Kathmandu enjoying with friends and packing our luggage and taking lots of rest at the hotel room.

Farewell

From Kathmandu, after having the early morning breakfast, we will move towards the airport to catch the flight to our respective destination.
