Pisang peak (6091m.) is the popular trekking peak of the Annapurna region which lies above the Pisang village. This peak is the busiest peak which was first climbed by German expedition team in 1955. Pisang peak rises above the Yak pastures with the uniform slope of ice and snow to the summit Pyramid. Pisang peak offers the adventurous experience of climbing and the mountain vistas. From the summit you can observe the close up view of the mountains like Mt. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Nilgiri, Manaslu, Thorung La peak as well as other surrounding mountains. Pisang peak climbing journey begins from Besisahar and follows the Annapurna circuit trekking trail.

From the Annapurna circuit trek, it takes 3/ 4 days to reach the summit of the Pisang peak. Pisang peak lies on the way to highest pass in the world and offers the climbers with a pleasant and comprehensive chance for outings. Pisang peak climbing journey is the interesting journey which pass through the varied ecosystem, river valleys, diverse cultures as well as the amazing Himalayan landscapes. In this journey you can visit many villages of the ethnic people like Gurung, Magar, Tamang, and Brahmin etc which are the chance to explore their lifestyle, religion, culture and tradition. Arrival at Kathmandu

When you will be arrived at the international airport of Nepal, a representative of the Destination Unlimited Treks and Expeditions will be there to receive you. Then you will be guided towards one of the best hotels of the Kathmandu by the representative. The night will be fun at the hotel enjoying the dinners with the friends and crew members.

Kathmandu to Besisahar

From Kathmandu, we will drive towards the Besisahar after having the delicious breakfast at the hotel of Kathmandu. The driving will be beautiful as well as enchanting as the en route beauty will mesmerizes us in many aspects. The drive will continue for about 7 to 8 hours through the main road. The night will be at Besisahar.

Besisahar to Bahundanda

From Besisahar, we will begin our trekking officially. We have to follow the Marsyangdi River while moving ahead at the Bahundanda. Similarly, we can see several beautiful forests, suspension bridges and waterfalls while trekking at this region. The trekking trail goes for about 6 to 7 hours offering the great and panoramic scene of the surroundings.

Bahundanda to Chamje

From Bahundanda, we will walk towards the Chamje viewing the panoramic scene of the surrounding. We have to descend through the forest at the beginning and thereafter the trekking trail will begin to rise towards the Chamje village to the altitude of 1430m above sea level. The trekking will continues for about 5 to 6 hours through the main trail to Chamje.

Chamje to Bagarchap

From Chamje, we will cross the suspension bridges of the Marsyangdi River and enter into the Manang districts at the Tal village. From Tal, we will continue to walk to reach at the Dharapani and ultimately to the Bagarchap at the altitude of 2160m.

Bagarchap to Chame

From Bagarchap, our trekking will continue towards the Chame following the beautiful forest of the rhododendron and juniper. We will pass through some of the typical Tibetan villages while trekking towards the Chame. Chame is the headquarters of Manang districts situating at the altitude of 2670m above sea level.

Chame to Lower Pisang

From Chame, we will trek towards the lower Pisang following the narrow steep path that goes all the way through the dense forest of pine and rhododendrons. During the trek, we will get the pleasuring view of the high mountains through our naked eyes. Walking for few hours through the main trail will take us to the altitude of 3200m at lower Pisang.

Lower Pisang to Pisang base camp

From lower Pisang, we will continue our journey acclimatizing ourselves at the way. The trekking route will be exciting as we move closer to the Pisang peaks. During the trek, we have to pass through the upper Pisang and then finally to the altitude of 4380m where we will set up our camp at the beautiful pasturelands called Kharka. The night will be at tented camp.

Base camp to High camp

From the base camp of the Pisang peak, our trekking route will guided us towards the high camps of the Pisang peak. We need to acclimatize ourselves at this point. The climbing to the high camp will takes only about 4 hours to reach thus, the leisure time can be spend to acclimatize ourselves. The night will be at high camp at tented camp at the altitude of 5400m above sea level.

high camp to summit and back to base camp

From the high camp, we will wake up early in the morning and will begin our climbing as per the guidance provided by the climbing guides. We will reach at the summit after the climbing of several hours. The view that we can see from the top of the Pisang peak is incomparable with anything in the world. Then, we will return back to the base cmap of the Pisang peak following the same way.

Base camp to Nawal village

From the base camp of the Pisang peak, we will trek towards the Nawal village. We need to pass through the Gyaru village viewing the typical picture of the high mountains from these places. Then the journey will be continuing towards the Nawal village after the short rest at the Gyaru village. Nawal village has a beautiful monastery which is absolutely a place to visit along with the cave which is situated just above the Nawal village. Nawal village is at the altitude of 3657m.

Nawal village to Manang village

From Nawal village, we will walk towards the Manang village. The trekking route from Nawal village to Manang village is short and easy too. The beautiful view of the vegetations along with the landscapes will make the journey further easy. The night will be at Manang village at the altitude of 3450m.

Manang village to Yak Kharka

From Manang village, we will head towards the yak Kharka enjoying the panoramic view of the surroundings. Yak Kharka is one of the small settlements situating at the altitude of 4110m above sea level. We can explore around the yak Kharka viewing the traditional lifestyle of the local people.

Yak Kharka to high camp

From Yak Kharka, we will trek towards the high camp viewing the wonderful view of the surroundings. The trekking will be short enough to complete our objectives. We will have our lunch at Thorong Phedi and will continue to move until we will reach at the high camp at the altitude of 4110m above sea level.

Trek to Muktinath

From the high camp we will cross the Thorung la situating at the altitude of 5416m and will descend towards the Muktinath. While trekking from the Thorung la, we will be glittered with the best view of the surroundings. The outstanding vie of the surroundings will be mesmerizing to watch and enjoy. The night will be at Muktinath at the altitude of 3800m after the trekking of about 6 to 7 hours.

trek to Jomsom

From Muktinath, we will visit the Muktinath temple early in the morning and will continue our journey following the main trail to Jomsom passing through several villages like Jharkot. Jharkot is a beautiful and traditional village rich in its own culture and tradition. We will then follow the kali Gandaki River while walking towards the Jomsom which is situated at the altitude of 2700m above sea level.

Fly to Pokhara

From Jomsom, we will take the early morning flight to Pokhara. The flight will enables us to view the glorious view of the high and snow capped mountains while returning towards the Pokhara. The flight will go for several minutes back to Pokhara. The leisure time will be spending at the Pokhara visiting the wonderful places of the Pokhara.

Pokhara to Kathmandu

From Pokhara, we will drive back to Kathmandu enjoying the glorious view of the surroundings. The en route beauty along with the combination of the settlements of the local people will be mesmerizing to watch and enjoy. The drive will takes about 7 to 8 hours through the main road to be back at the Kathmandu from Pokhara. The night will be interesting at Kathmandu.

Farewell

After the completion of the exhilarating tour at the high Himalayan of Nepal, it's time to move towards our own destination i.e. our home. We will pack our luggage and will move towards the airport to catch the returning flight. The farewell party organizes by the Destination Unlimited Treks and Expeditions will be enjoying. During the flight we will reassemble the memories that we have gained during the exciting tour of Nepal.
