Trip Overview

Seti River Rafting is one of the most beautiful short rivers rafting in Nepal. Seti River is located in the mid-western Nepal. The name Seti which literally means white in Nepali is given to it for the deposition of minerals like chalk and lime carried by the river. Seti River is fed by the Annapurna Himal range and holy Mt. Machhapauchhare high in the Himalaya and flows down with the great force. The river eventually joins the Trishuli to form the Narayani River. The warm water of the river adds more relaxation to the trip as the water in the river is heated by the underground spring and geothermal heat.

Seti River Rafting starts from the rafting take in point at Damauli which falls on the Kathmandu to Pokhara highway. From Damauli you start your adventurous rafting passing through the stunning jungle scenery, green hills and valleys, encountering several bouncy, exciting and plenty of straight forward rapids of class 2 and 3, camping for overnight at the bank of the river near rural settlements. On the second day of the rafting the river joins the Trishuli River and passes the Narayanghat which is a gateway to Chitwan National Park. This exciting white water rafting takes you 35 kilometers along the river until you reach the rafting take out point at Gaighat. This Seti river rafting can be an idyllic trip for those who are interested in bird watching and want to enjoy the awe-inspiring natural beauties alongside of the river. This river is also suitable for family trips and best for kayaking learners in Nepal.
